Great board book with variety of textures to touch

This board book has a little mouse looking for "his" cat. On the way, readers see cats with features different from the cat he's looking for. The textures available for baby to touch are excellent - soft ears, a shiny bell, a smooth nose, a cloth-like tongue, rough paws and soft fur. Lots of fun for baby to read and touch.

Love Them

These are the cutest series of books. It can get a bit repetitive as they use a lot of the same adjectives over (rough, bumpy, fuzzy), so only pick out a few books. It is tempting to buy more though because they are cute.

Very cute for young babies

This book is great for very young kids. My 8 month old likes feeling the different textures. It has bright bold colors on a limited scheme, but powerful enough to grab even her attention.

One of my daughter's favorites

My 16-month-old doesn't care much about other touch and feel books we have, but she loves this one! She'll have my husband or me read it to her twice in a row, which as anyone with a toddler knows, is rare indeed; she also loves to read it herself, turning the pages and touching the different areas. Our daughter's a big cat fan, but she also enjoys the other books in this series. The repitition in phrasing and bold artistry are really appealing to her.

Book for basic child learning

The book is great for teaching animal parts. The book is colorful and the textures are great. The only downfall is the fact that all the books in the series are very similar. Some even use the same wording on a page. I would say buying one book in the series (we picked our son's favorite animals) is sufficient.
