That's My Cursive 2!: And Other Third Grade Proclamations

As the old tv show title suggests, Kids say the darndest things. Over the years of teaching in an elementary school you hear a lot of stories. If you listen you will hear some jim-dandy conversation and have a couple of laughes. Its always interesting to see and hear what a child is thinking in a particular moment. Sometimes these statements are stand alone quotes disconnected from any conversation, others they are interjections students would like to add to the lesson being taught. Here are some of the times we have been caught off guard by the genuine comedic moments presented in our classroom.
