I thought winning the lottery would be a dream come true. Now, I'm not so sure.

Up until last weekend, the entire focus of my twelve-year-old existence was soccer, school, and playing pranks on my sister, Maeve. (It's not my fault she's afraid of spiders )

Then my teacher's assignment shifts that focus to what everyone else has been talking about-the biggest lottery, ever. The chance of winning it is one in eleventy billion. (So, you know, practically impossible.) But...we do. Thanks to a ticket I beg my dad to buy.

You'd think that would be the beginning of a fantastic, fun-filled story. Well, there's tons of fun, don't worry But there's also drama-intrusive (that means nosy) reporters, greedy family members, equally greedy classmates...you get the gist. Add in a wannabe-influencer sister, my parents who never wanted to win in the first place, and a bunch of really strange situations that never would have happened to us before... and that's basically my new life.

A dream come true, yes. But, also, maybe a nightmare?
