That Day

I have often dreamed of that day when I would sit with my Creator and discuss my life. I envision it being at an outdoor caf on a stone paved street with palm trees blowing in the breeze. There will be music from a band playing nearby, and the smells of coffee and pastries will fill the air. We will discuss life, my past, my future, and my new purpose. We will discuss the wrongs of my earthly life, and we will also discuss what I did for the Great Commission. Heaven is probably not what you envision; it is going to be so much better. The new Heaven on the new Earth will be a lot like the current Earth, but it will be perfect. It will have relationships, jobs, neighbourhoods and many of the luxuries we enjoy daily. We will have life, we will have purpose, and we will have eternal peace.

I know that I will sit with Jesus one day, and I see it a little like this...
