An American Air Traffic Controller, based in Chicago, becomes radicalized after his younger brother, Tom Fielding, is murdered by a Sniper from his own unit. The war against the Islamic State in Afghanistan is claiming the lives of thousands of innocent civilians. Coalition forces are slowly winning the battle but at a cost that none of the western countries are willing to accept.

This sets in motion a plot to avenge the loss of Chris Fielding's brother by orchestrating a terrorist attack on the United States. An attack is planned to take place on the eve of Thanksgiving. Over the course of three years, the plans are being put in place to recruit, and radicalize teams in ten cities.
