Recovery from early childhood abuse is difficult and complex. One may feel the roller coaster ride of recovery. The ride "is what it is"; the ride if dangerous - fun - thrilling - yucky, and I leave you, my reader, to add more words to the ride. My book, my ride, will give you a glimpse into what the ride, your ride, may feel like. Thanks so much, Marilyn describes my "child within" living in my grown woman's body. Early childhood abuse is an abuse that rises from the deep, and often times, the effects of the abuse is so subtle; the non-verbal cues of damage might be missed. This is why my story needs to be written and read, to be heard and understood - so you, my reader, please overlook my grammatical and spelling errors (to instead of too, etc.), and instead, listen to my written voice, a voice of a childhood too deep and too empty - a combination difficult to describe.
