Thankful

As I completed the first half of my packing, I could not help but feel hyper, excited, and giddy all at the same time. Two years ago, I was lying in a hospital bed and fighting for my life. Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that I would be cancer-free, have a steady boyfriend, be in a band with him and my best friend in the entire world, Be a part of a Nationally ranked Honor Choir, and be going to camp for almost an entire summer.Thank you God, I thought to myself, as happy tears rolled down my cheeks.
