Praise and thanksgiving

This tender book shares the thoughts, wishes and feelings of children in the 1st through 3rd grade ages. The book is written by the children in their own handwriting and is accompanied by their own illustrations. The author captions the child's writing in the bottom corner to clarify the handwriting.My 6 year old son is a very strong beginning reader. He recently read this book to my mom who is recovering from chemotherapy. He noticed a child had written, "Dear God, my grandma is sick..." He wanted God to know that his grandma was sick too and told my mom, "This prayer is about you, Granny."That was the best medicine my mother could've received; it was better than anything the doctors could give.
