This book is a continuation of the textbook folly series and reviews two college textbooks; one from the Eastern Washington University and the other from the Spokane Community college system. The first book in the textbook folly series dealt with direct attacks on the Bible and Christianity in philosophy and logic textbooks. This book, volume two, deals with a much more insidious and wide spread attack on the Christian faith through the revisioning of history. Even though the two textbooks we review in these chapters are geography books, the reader may be surprised to find that geography has changed. Because they now include social studies and history in Geography, the books provide the perfect opportunity for presenting ideology in the guise of history, thus the title; Textbook Propaganda. Because of the necessary brevity for each history, the books have an opportunity to paint a very simplistic and dogmatic view of history, and often a very biased and inaccurate one. They get away with this by including very few names, dates or actual quotes from the people and times they are representing. This book pulls the cover off their subterfuge simply by going back to actual source documents and quotes of the few people and historical periods they mention or allude to. Is it education or indoctrination? That is a question that the reader will have to answer for themselves. If you are sending your children to college, and you hold anything other than an extreme liberal and anti-American and anti-Christian world view, you may want to read this series.
