The second edition of the Textbook of Fetal and Perinatal Pathology, written by an international team of practicing pathologists, is the most comprehensive reference on fetal pathology available. Although the focus of the volumes remains the same, more emphasis is placed on the use of ultrasound in detecting fetal abnormalities including actual sonogram examples. Volume I concentrates largely on general problems while the focus of Volume II is specific organ systems.
