"I can't wait to see the look on Fargo's face when we come back."

I gave this Episode 4*Stars,not because it was that good,but because it was so different.Of all the episodes I've read ,this has to be the weirdest!!This story no more follows the criteria for an Old West Western than does the spelling of the word "Weird"...remember the rule from school?" "i before e,except after c". From the beginning,this novel reminded me of that old western movie farce,"Paleface", starring Bob Hope. I haven't yet figured if the writer of this episode was serious,had ever written a Old West Western,or what. The two central characters in this story are so out of place and so completely inconceivable,that it is impossible to really enjoy the tale. Not only that,the writer takes Skye Fargo so out of character to even contemplate that he would ever get involved with such unrealistic characters. All I can think ,is that the writer did this as a joke to see if it could be possible to put this over the publisher as a joke.Or maybe the editor was away on vacation or something,and it simply went to press,without anyone even reading it. The artwork on the cover shows a good baroom shoot-out,which suggests the artist hadn't even read it . Oh well,let's hope whoever is responsible for this divergence;has gotten it out of their system,and we can get back to reality.
