Jodi Thomas fans rejoice!

The long wait is over, and once again we can be drawn into the fantastic world of Texan strong-but-silent heroes who have a woman's best interests always at heart, where love triumphs and evil-doers meet the fate they deserve! When Tobin McMurray delivers a horse to Liberty Mayfield, he soon finds that the ordinary job he had hoped for has instead involved him into something he never really wanted -- romance. Complications and plot twists allow this wonderful author to shine, quickly involving readers into a wonderful story with characters so beautifully drawn that we can't help but keep turning the pages to find out what will happen next. Texas Princess is a superlative example of what keeps readers coming back for novel after novel. Brava, Jodi Thomas!

Absolutely Wonderful!

The second book of Ms Thomas's Whispering Mountain trilogy, this story features the youngest brother, Tobin McMurray. For someone who doesn't like to talk to people, he doesn't have any trouble when it comes to Liberty Mayfield. That's because she speaks the language of the heart. When she needs a rescuer, he doesn't hesitate. Through the course of the story, Tobin's thoughts are always on Liberty's safety and security, regardless of any danger he's in. He's the type of strong silent hero that I dream of having. True to the Code of the West, although he's an expert shot, he never draws his gun unless he has to and then it's with deadly accuracy. Of the three brothers, Tobin is the most sensitive to the needs of others. After his sister receives the news that her fiance has been killed, he's the one who comforts her. An especially moving scene is the fiance's burial on Whispering Mountain. This was a very well crafted, deeply emotional story of love triumphing over evil and justice for the lawless. The book satisfied me and left me wanting more. I won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who's looking for high excellence in western romance. I can't wait to see Ms Thomas's next story in this trilogy. I know it'll be great.

Strong,Silent and Yummie!

I enjoyed Texas Princess. When I purchased the book I was not certain I would enjoy it but have to admit it was good. Tobin was a sweet hero and Libby a bit spoiled but still likable. Whisper Mountain sounded wonderful and wouldn't it be wonderful if it really existed. All the brothers were to like and Sage. The young boy Drum, caught stealing horses I hope will come back in a later book as a love interest for Sage. It was an easy afternoon read . Darn sight better than television. I've read alot of Jodi Thomas' books and usually enjoy her writing.

Queen of Texas Romance Does It Again!

Texas Princess, the second book in the Whispering Mountain series, continues the story of the orphaned McMurray clan. And, it's Tobin, the youngest brother, who has a story to tell. To Tobin McMurray people in general confuse him but women seem to have their own brand of mystery. But when he's forced to deliver a spirited horse to the soiled daughter of a Texas senator, the Princess turns his world upside down, making him think he might want to reconsider his position on women ... or at least one woman, Miss Liberty Mayfield. Jodi works her magic and introduces a new cast of memorable characters, while bringing back Travis and Rainey along with their adopted son Duck. Little sister, Sage, continues waiting on her Texas Ranger to return, while Teagan works from first light to dark on the one thing he loves, the ranch. And, yes, testy Martha once again stakes her claim as the housekeeper who can barely tolerate the shenanigans of the McMurray brothers. Another heartwarming tale of Texas.
