Kudos to the Author

This book is a great addition to one's library of etiquette books. I had never read an etiquette book from cover to cover prior to owning Texas Manner, a Guide to Gracious Living. This book is not only informative but also FUN to read. After reading it, I bought 7 more copies and gave as gifts to my family - they all love it !!

Texas Manners, Funny, Current, and Concise

I loved reading Texas Manners, a Guide to Gracious Living! I laughed out loud on more than one occasion of bedtime reading. The author has organized the helpful current topics into concise, easy to use chapters. I have already used it to look up information on spider bites! (found under chapter on Dangerous Territory: Snakes, Spiders, and Hunters.) That is just one example of the unexpected but useful information in Texas Manners. I like to read etiquette books, and I loved this one.

Entertaining Reference!

This book answered all of my etiquette questions and told me how to tap a keg to boot! It's an easy to use reference for people inside of Texas and out-- whether you're planning a quincinera, a wedding shower or a funeral. The author has traded in the haughty tone so common in etiquette books for a great sense of humor! Who needs Miss Manners when you have Cece Neef Brune?
