You do not want to overlook this book, which contains stories, poems, essays, images, and historical documents from the Lone Star State of Texas. The pictures are monochrome, but they are so old that they give an ambiance. There are also maps and drawings. The book itself, “A Case Study,” is just that and could be used in a classroom. There are plenty of footnote questions for critical thinking and writing, and an index of Authors and titles. This book will just wet your whistle. You will feel compelled to dig deeper.
