Must Read Historical

This is book two in the Lone Star Redemption series and was so worth the wait as book one captivated me and this one didn’t disappoint. This had me invested from beginning to end and it felt like the characters were people you knew. I cried multiple times over the abuse Morning Fawn indured from her uncle . I loved her spirit and her growth throughout the story. The historical details were well researched and although it was a sad and difficult time the author gives hope in the darkness. I loved the sweet romance that developed between Devon and Morning Fawn aka Beth Logan as they learned to trust and open their hearts. There is intrigue that keeps you guessing as to how it will be resolved which adds depth to the story. This author has a way of drawing you into the realm of the story and leaving you wanting more. I’m anxiously awaiting book three as I can’t get enough. The series will stay on my keeper shelf so I can revisit them. I highly recommend reading asap.
