The Best Boot Book

This is an over 40 year old tome by New Yorker writer Sharon Delano, however, IMHO it's still the standard. Other books tend to be of the " coffee table," variety, are a light and pleasant read, but, this book has gravitas. Since the publication of this book many changes have occurred in the Western boot industry, not all for the better. This book was written when you could see the past, almost touch it and glimpse the future. Read this book and you'll understand why many of us prefer vintage boots to new.
