The Katie Series is a coming of age, group of short stories on adjusting to life, friendships, and love. The series follows the main character, Katie Moseley, as she navigates a course through the strange world between adolescence and adulthood. Katie is smart, talented, and intuitive and is joined by her best friend and confidant, Theresa Benson. Katie knows that she can always count on Theresa. Theresa is strong, energetic, and intelligent. She lives next door and is the daughter of a pastor; who also plays a role in Katie's life.

These books are about self-discovery and are set in present day. This series is geared towards young adult readers and the messages are always about faith, hope, and love. It does not always seem that way but they can conquer all.

My hope is that these books help open the discussion on topics that are important to young adults. At the end of each book are a series of discussion questions geared towards opening the dialog between young adults, teachers, and parents.
