When he receives an invitation to work for a former professor, Reeve eagerly accepts, even though it means moving to a new city. Anxious to connect with the local queer community, Reeve attends Sunday service at the only LGBTQ church in town. A young man welcomes Reeve at the door, ushering him to a seat in the back. Minutes later, Reeve asks where the restroom is and the young man leads him up to a restroom next to the empty choir loft.
