Niki, the great inventor, loves science, machines and bugs.
A Science Fair is coming to town and 1st prize is a telescope for looking at the stars. Niki and his friends; Simon (the grasshopper), Bart (the dung beetle), Drake (the praying mantis) and Hera (the spider) must work together to win 1st prize at the Science Fair.
Combining his love for science, machines and bugs, Niki and his friends, creates a Bug-Powered Machine that he believes will win the science fair and be a great contribution to science. But everything wants to eat bugs, including birds. In order to save his bugs, Niki must abandon his bug-powered machine and lose the Science Fair.
