The Sequin Embroidery- In October 1898, the German Emperor Wilhelm II made a trip to the East. In Istanbul, he meets Sultan Abdul Hamid II, and plans to build the Berlin-Baghdad railway in an effort to rival England's trade and cut off the overland route to India.
