When a CIA agent is caught spying on an al Qaeda controlled terrorist camp deep in the Syrian Desert, it starts a chain reaction where Omar Salaam, a willing martyr is sent to far off Australia to strike a blow against a country that provides political and military support to the USA. Paul Wilcox, a widower who lost his wife in the IRA bombing of the London's Harrods store, now a Police terrorist profiler, takes on a job in Australia as a consultant to ASIO, Australia's Security Intelligence Agency. He is teamed up with the beautiful but fiercely independent Diane Martins and despite the tension between them, together they try to help the Australian authorities realise that Australia is open to terrorist attacks. It isn't long before Paul picks up Omar's trail and it quickly becomes a race to stop him before the safety of the public is put in jeopardy. Despite their personal rivalries, Paul and Diane soon find that they have to find a way to work together if they are going to prevent a disaster. Through the twists and turns of the manhunt, they slowly become aware that they have a more than professional respect for each other.
