The president of the United States and his chief of staff appear to undergo subtle changes in their normal traits and habits. A white house speech writer is surprised by his double in a Manhattan store and O'Malley suspects that a conspiracy to subjugate the country's political and military leadership through the introduction of high profile lookalikes is in progress.
