Ten Thousand Words

This is my inaugural attempt at composing poetry, a brave leap into a realm of expression that is both powerful and delicate. With trepidation, I present my humble offering, hoping my words resonate with those who encounter them. I have ventured into this art form, hoping to evoke emotion, spark thought, and delve into the human experience. It is an endeavour that requires courage, as poetry exposes the rawness of our emotions and the vulnerability of our thoughts. Yet, it is also an adventure of discovery, where words become an instrument to convey meaning, capture the beauty of the world around us, and unravel the complexities of our inner selves. My poetic expressions are a testament to the potential of language to convey the depth and richness of the human experience. And so, with excitement and apprehension, I offer this first piece, hoping it may be the first of many steps on a journey of creative exploration.
