It's a classic

I had checked out this book from our public library when my 2-1/2-year-old granddaughter visited a couple of months ago. We both loved it. The illustrations are adorable, and the sing-songy rhythm of the book is fun. She liked it so much that I bought it and sent it to her for Easter. As soon as my granddaughter saw a monkey in the corner of the cover as she was unwrapping the book, she was excited and identified the title of the book, even after the passage of a few months. She has "read" it constantly since. It really is a fun book. Not too long or too short.

Great book!!

My daughter loves this book. I bought it for her when she was 3. She's 4 1/2 now and still really enjoys it. The illustrations are adorable. I've also given it as a gift many times. It's one everyone seems to enjoy.

The cadence of this book is so fun much to read and my young child loves it! It takes an old jump rope rhyme and adds to it- a lot of fun.
