Best for beginning counters

Ten cut-out monkeys and a pop-up tree help children learn to count by physically removing the monkeys from the tree while progressing through the book. The pieces are sturdy enough under adult supervision, but they won't last forever under the use of little hands. Still, the book has a charming storyline and the removable monkeys make the counting theme of the book fun and easier to understand.
