Excellent Book

My 3.5 year old loves reading it over and over and picking which dog each person decides to buy. He likes to tell the story to all his relatives.:) Definitely worth it!

Great book for toddlers

My 2-year old son absolutely loves this book. He is learning to count with it, in addition to learning the names of all types of dogs featured in the book. If you are not sure about buying it, check it out from your local library first and if it's a good fit, then buy it.

Fun and Funny Way to Count

As a very long-time preschool teacher, I am picky about books and I love Ten Dogs in the Window. It's a simple count down book with lots of clever humor for the adults and the children even begin to see a resemblance between the dogs and their purchasers. I buy a new copy every few months because we read it so often.

Rave reviews from four-year old twins

My girls have checked this book out from the library at least four times now. I have finally ordered them their own copy (my husband said, "Don't we already have that book?" because he's seen it around so much). The illustrations are appealing and the girls enjoy matching the dogs with their owners. This will be one they'll remember when they are parents of four-year olds!

Fun counting and rhyming

I got this book at the library to read to my two year old, and she loves it so much that we now are buying it. The pictures are colorful, and the text is fun. A child can learn about counting, people, and dogs, and have fun with language. Just be careful you don't end up having to get a dog to go with the book!
