Following Kendall and Tinsley's unexplained disappearance from Pearl Shores, Camille becomes obsessed with unlocking more mysteries hidden at Chroma Academy. Her invisibility power causes her to feel irrelevant, until she meets Russ. Never one to take risks, she grows distracted and becomes more focused on wanting to be seen. Her relationship with Russ becomes a major priority, causing her plans to shift altogether.
Meanwhile, Zoe still doesn't fully understand her power. Through a series of flashbacks, she complies lengthy research on her background and origin. In the process she notices some of the other girls shrouding facts about their true identities.
Chroma's sequel follows the narratives of Camille and Zoe as they set off to reunite with their friends in an alternate Steampunk universe, known as Tempus. The second installment in the Pearl Shores Series continues exploring deep emotions, mind powers, friendship, and dream symbolism.
