This book explains that many things Christians take for granted would not be available today without the Temple Veil being torn in two from top to bottom. The Veil represented Jesus' Body and Flesh. If the Flesh of Jesus were not Torn and Sacrificed for us, we would not have access to God the Father. No one can come to the Father except through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus. God is reconciling us to Himself through the sacrifice of Jesus in a new and living way represented by the removal of the Veil between God and Man.
