Teens have feelings, too They may express those feelings differently; they may see the world with a unique point of view; but teens have feelings that run as deeply as those of any adult. This collection of 100 original monologues for students from eleven to fifteen years of age offers characters that talk like, think like, and feel like real-life kids. Each monologue runs from one to three minutes in length and are perfect for acting exercises or audition pieces. Mixed and matched, they may be combined to make a show filled with moments both humorous and profound. Any young person will relate to the topics of these monologues.
This book provides middle school students and younger high schoolers audition selections that are short, realistic, emotional and unintimidating.
Awesome!

I may be biased, because this was written by my high school drama and English teacher, haha, but this still has some great material. We used some of these pieces in class and I enjoyed performing them and improved my dramatic skills at the same time. Thanks Mrs. Karczewski! :-)
Wonderful for school libraries!

Over the years I have had many students looking for good monologues to use for drama and speech classes. This book is good for junior high students, both in subject matter and in length. This author also has several other books available for high school students or older teens. Good variety -- humorous, poignant.
Well, it was OK

This was not the best book, other people may not think that but it was realllllly not what I was looking for when I picked it up. I guess that it might be good for some people, but Even though the title was nice and good, the book was not what I was looking for and I was disapointed. As I was saying, it might be good for people with a little less something than I have, but this book was just not right for me. That's all.
