An Excellent Primer

Teeline is a surprisingly easy form of shorthand to learn, a task made even easier by Ann Dix's straightforward approach. Every lesson is carefully crafted to build on previous material and the author has created useful exercises throughout each chapter to practice both reading and writing Teeline. Moreover, each lesson contains enough material to be put into immediate practical use. I was confidently incorporating Teeline outlines into my longhand notes after only a couple of lessons. After a couple of weeks, I was able to write almost entirely in Teeline. Anyone wishing to increase his or her note taking skills would find the time spent learning Teeline well worth the effort and Ann Dix's book is an excellent place to start.
