Ted and Dolly book without Ted and Dolly

I received this book without the Ted and Dolly piece you need to make the book work. It doesn’t make sense without it. Nowhere on the listing did it say it didn’t come with it. It was a birthday present for my daughter and we were both disappointed.

Kindergarten Teachers - buy this book

Every year I read the two Ted and Dolly books that I own to my new kindergarten class. They are absolutely enthralled with the books - they believe I am doing some kind of magic. The two main characters are pictured on a small card which you then push through a slot in the page - it takes them a while to figure out what you are doing...I love having a captive audience.
