This book was a primary text for a "technology and philosophy" class I took at San Jose State University back around 1990. The class was a favorite of mine, and the book opened my eyes to the many connections between technology, and human sociology and psychology. So here I am, many years later, reordering the book, as I sold my original back at the time. Nicholas Carr's article in the July/August 2008 Atlantic, Is Google Making Us Stupid?, reminded me, once again, of its value.
