Life can be so precarious. You truly don't know what life will throw at you, let alone the reasons why. This is true for many of us. There are times life can get so hard and leave you at a loss for where to turn or look for help. You know, like getting through things that seem to be too tough to handle on your own. My life, for one, has taken me to some truly dark, dismal places, not to say that happiness hasn't found me every now and then. It's through my journey that I had found some pieces that gave me light enough to see my way through whatever it was that left me in the dark. It is my pleasure as well as my pain to share my story with you, and I hope that you will find some pieces that will give you light enough to forge ahead and not become a bitter soul. For those of you who have not been grazed by the dark side, I pray this book will give you encouragement to help others in need of a helping hand. Can we learn not to judge others? Can we lend a shoulder to the brokenhearted, the battered and abused? I could have taken the low road and turned bitter and hateful, but I didn't do that. As you read my book, you'll see why.
