It is the third transformation of the human species, prompted by an unusual supernova. Riley and Jerry have come under the influence of this power. They try out their powers and realize that they have to guard their identities. Wherever there are superheroes there are the concomitant Supervillains.On their own, they make their own costumes. They get some exercise in throwing around a two hundred pound rock. They are noticed by an agent of a philanthropist. He convinces them to join his school, where they will proceed at their own speed. The school is also a place to develop Superheroes into Superhero teams.A particularly nasty bug has invaded Houston. When Team Phoenix learns of him, they set their objective the arrest of the superbug. He gets away. The pieces are in place. The Final Battle has been drawn. It is Team Phoenix vs. Scorpion.
