The problems facing education today are incredibly complex and the culture of learning must change with the times. This change will require support from all stakeholders. Where we hold the education of our youth and all who help teach them in high regard. Through one teacher's experiences, these topics will be explored. As you read, reflect on the role/roles you play. Perhaps, you play many roles. Think about each and the impact you have. What can you do to make a positive change in the educational system? When you speak about education today, what do you say? When you vote, do you consider a politician's stance on education reform and the impact of their stance? As a parent, do you stand behind the teacher or your child? Do your actions match your words and beliefs? This book will also explore some keys to removing the handcuffs placed on teachers by each of these groups. Again, the goal is to start a discussion, look for solutions, and take action towards making critical changes in the education system. We must work together and be diligent in our efforts.
