Teachers Need to "Get" This Message

This book is heavy reading, but it is worth it. I've read several books Moffett has written, and he knows exactly what is wrong with education. This guy has been around for a long time as a teacher and writer. The greatest insight I received from the book is that education must be radically student centered--not curriculum driven; "students are individuals." Attemps at standardizing curriculum and tests are bound to fail. If you read this book, you will understand why.
