We must persuade people that the Bible is worthy of honor, respect, study, and obedience because it's from God (2 Cor. 5:11). Why did they want to kill Jesus? Jesus did not sin, He healed, He fed people, and He taught truth. Knowing why the religious authorities killed Him explains most government actions. There are only two sides: Jesus' and Satan's (Mt. 12:30; Lk. 11:23). If someone doesn't show the good fruit of being on Jesus' side, we judge that they're on Satan's side (Mt. 7:15-20) from their bad fruit. Many governments have tried to destroy churches and Christians - Satan hates Jesus and His people, so Satan's people hate us. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 25But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. John 15:18, 25 Do you have an Attitude of Gratitude? Moses warned that the Jews would lose everything they had unless they loved God with grateful hearts with thanks for everything He gave them (De. 28:47-48).
