Teaching in The Good and Not So Good Old Days

Remember when teaching used to be fun? I do. The kids were great and you were young and resilient? Thirty years will sure take it out of you. You become a little burned out toward the end and people will tend to remember you as just an old grump. I've written this for all the old grumps out there, and I'm sure there are many. If there is anything more boring than listening to a bunch of retired teachers reminiscing, I don't know what it is. But to all the old buzzards who were in the same school and shared the same experiences, it's pretty damned entertaining. Hope you appreciate the humor.
