'Teaching From the Tabernacle' is a wonderful work on the function and practices of the Tabernacle of the L-rd. The author, a Christian Assembly of G-d minister, took careful consideration of this sacred symbol of Jewish antiquity. He is accurate and considerate in his discriptions of the Jewish services performed within it's gates. He sites Biblical justification for his insights and presents the information in an easy to read format.Jewish readers may find the few instances of Mr DeWitt's Christian convictions presented distracting, but not annoying. Many hard to resolve issues regarding the exodus from Egypt and the tabernacle, including the long misunderstood '430 years to the day' sojourn inconsistancy, are clearly remedied in this charming 189 page composition. For both Jewish and Christian students of this beautiful provision of G-d's Atonement services this book is a keeper. A companion to 'The Temple, Its Ministry and Services' by Alfred Edersheim dealing with the Beit Hamiqdash (2nd Temple) is a must for those seeking a closer relationship with our Creator, the G-d of Avraham, Yitzach, and Ya'akov (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob)Baruch HashemDavid Freitag
