Great book, teaches Flash the way it should be taught

This is an excellent book, not just because its from a Canadian author. I picked the book up about a year ago but never gave it much chance. I finally decided that I wanted to learn Flash so I began to go through the book. In 5 days I finished the entire book and I learnt so much from this books style. Instead of the way alot of books are written, where you work on a project and apply a bunch of techniques to it, this book shows you all the functions and where they apply to without all the hassle of having to create a big project to learn new concepts. Excellent book for people who are new to Flash.

Simple, small, but pack with a punch

This book is really easy to understand and easy to go about it. If you are a newbie and need some hints on "how to do", this is the book you need. Pretty simple, efficient and pack with a punch. For me, it was breeze and just to refresh things I had learned from past versions, yet I had never put it to use until now. If you are like me, and you want to know what is new on flash mx version. Be ready to breeze through, but if you are newbie. Be ready to dig in deep.

Teach Yourself Visually: Flash MX is a book for someone who knows absolutely nothing about Flash MX. By using this book you will be able to get a better understanding and knowledge of the program. It has a lot of cool and colorful images that show you the step by step processes of creating an animation. This book takes you from the beginning to the end of the various procedures, showing you exactly what your animation will look like. Unlike many of the supposed beginner books, you will get a better enlightenment on this very difficult program. By using Teach Yourself Visually: Flash MX, Flash will almost seem easy. This book is better than any teacher in a classroom because it will allow you to work with the program on your own. This is a total self help book. You will almost be an expert at the basic functions of the program. But be clear this is a book for beginners only. If you want to go more in depth on the capabilities of Flash MX, you must get a more advanced book.

Excellent Guide

If your starting out in Flash MX or tweaking your novice skills. Your tired of getting lost in the sea of text. Then this book is for you.I love this series, I also happen to own Teach Yourself Visually Photoshop 6, and I've just recently ordered Teach Yourself Visually Dreamweaver MX.These books are not only awesome how to/intruction books these books are also wonderful references books as well.
