It is a very elegant book with a good balance of unique and familiar recipes. Also, it is very "user-friendly" with photos of table settings as well as the featured dishes, and scattered advice on meal planning throughout. The use of fresh ingredients is integral to many recipes, utilizing seasonal herbs and spices.
