Since childhood, Rawdha was known throughout the village as Tarnished Blade' because her mom, the once great and feared Bah'ar warrior, Merit, brought disgrace to the tribe. Rawdha grows up training with one goal: vindicate her family and distinguish herself as a swordswoman. When accepting a mission to join her Bah'ar Sisters, she knows it is led by the woman who was responsible for her mon's disgrace. She struggles between what her Sisters expect; self sacrifice and unselfish commitment to the warrior code, or a common soldier driven by selfishness. However, Rawdha discovers that living the life of an honorable warrior is a razor's edge between trust, deception and the fortitude to be true to one's self even if it could cost her life.
