Targeted Delivery of the drug loaded magnetic nanoparticles

With the latest update, breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in women worldwide. Cancer has the potential to spread to different organs around the body, and form metastases that can even develop after surgical removal of the primary tumour and resides undefeated. Certain chemotherapeutic agents have shown promising results against, but bear lots of adverse effects. Enormous types of nanoparticles have been used for targeting delivery of such composites to the breast tumour cells, among them magnetically assisted carriers shown a superior action at specific site with tumour specific drug action. Magnetically assisted nanoparticulate systems can be controlled and abstracted by the external magnetic field for achieving tissue specific accretion with prolonged residence and drug release. This work conspires on the modification of fundamental methods of the magnetic nanoparticle preparation according to its prerequisite for their use as a targeted carrier in drug delivery for the breast tumour.
