Great book - can't wait for the first snow fall!

Good overview of the mechanics of skiing. Gently leads the reader through the process of becoming one with the mountain. As a life long skier, this was a great refresher ... but someone who has never been on a chairlift can certainly develop a clear mental image of the proper techniques before ever setting foot on the mountain.

A good read leads to a good ski.....

Here's a book to chew up and digest and the meal will prepare you for a good skiing experience. Don't rush thru the reading, take time to take it in. I feel it could help any skier especially a thinking skier. If you are lucky enough to be going to Taos then this book is a "must read". It is a small volume nicely laid out easy to read. If you like skiing you'll like this book.
