Four-year-old Tallulah's life revolves around playschool, cBeebies, and her stuffed teddy, Baby-Bear. It also revolves around Mummy's Bad Days, the men that come to the house, and most of all, the mysterious "Papa". She doesn't know that other four-year-olds don't make their own meals, or hide from strange men in the middle of the night. She doesn't know that everything in her life is balanced on somebody else's decision: the right to keep her mother in her life, to leave her in her home.
