Shannon McKenna redeemed herself!

What a comeback! Shannon McKenna BOMBED in book 2- I was harsh in my review. As I previously stated in my reviews, I find McKenna is inconsistent in her work- but she certainly aced this 3rd book in the "Men Of Maddox Hill" series. I was impressed with just about everything in this tale; interesting characters and excellent character development, a riveting and suspenseful story line. Ava Maddox and Zack Austin were introduced in previous books in the series, but I had not anticipated a connection between the two. Such sizzle! I admired the respect Ava had for herself; she was intelligent, sensitive, driven, aware. There was a darkness within her, a result of the loss of her parents. She faced it, worked on it and trusted Zack to assist her in trying to find the light. Zack was also intelligent, grasping the technical aspects of his own job and Ava's interests. Handsome, sensitive, strong, loyal- Zack was the ideal man (if a bit intimidating and stubborn). Ava and close associates/friends are cyberstalked and "trolled". As Chief Security Officer in Ava's family business, Zack is compelled to protect her. Hence the start of some interesting interactions. Inquiries into the guilty party in these embarrassing and threatening posts weave an interesting path through the many players and their complicated relationships. I enjoyed each twist and turn through the conclusion! Fantastic!
