One of the best little books on a big subject

Prayer is such an big aspect of the Christian life. Wayne R. Spear's _Talking to God: A Theology of Prayer_ (Pittsburgh: Crown & Covenant, 2002), is one of the best little books on this big subject, the subject of prayer. Few books ask (and answer so well and so clearly) so many questions about the nature of Christian prayer. This book is not a "how to" manual, but the sincere reader will almost certainly be strengthened in their praying for having read and studied this book.
