Tales2Inspire The Ruby Collection: Gifts of Compassion

By John Graden, Lois W. Stern, Beth Smithem, et al.

EXPANDED AND REVISED:

Seventeen contest-winning true stories, each one a Gift of Compassion. named for the Ruby, the gemstone symbolizing friendship and love. These are stories of human kindness, expressed not just with caring words, but with impactful actions:
. . . A boy with Alopecia believes the world is filled with kindness because those he encounters assume he is being treated for cancer. . . An injured eagle and his trainer learn to communicate in ways that feel almost impossible. . . an affluent volunteer at an Alaskan visitors center befriends an alcoholic Native American woman and changes her life. Each story stands completely on its own and each one is true.

If you love short stories filled with caring and compassion, this is the book for you.

The Ruby, the gemstone symbolizing real life demonstrations of caring and love, is a perfect match for this group of memoirs.

Tales2Inspire began as an Authors Helping Authors project, a global story contest created to lift up talented writers while bringing readers exactly the kind of true human interest stories that readers are quietly searching for - stories that remind us of what people are capable of. That original idea, an Authors Helping Authors project, grew into a contest of globally submitted stories, and is part of what makes this collection feel different from anything assembled by a single author or a single publisher. Every story in this collection has earned its place.

The Zodiac Connection: The Ruby is the gemstone associated with three astrological signs: Aries, Leo and Capricorn. For specific dates and colorful details, download our free Zodiac chart under GIFTS at the Tales2Inspire website.
