The tales in this collection all involve the activities, mostly nefarious, of a somewhat anthropomorphic rooster who may represent various aspects of modern life on both sides of the pond and elsewhere. The stories are mostly told with satiric intent, and with the hope that the reader will enjoy the adventures of the rooster, as well as those of the pigs and Lizard Men with whom he is associated as they create havoc from the American Mid West to London's Victoria Station and beyond.
