The MuriMuri is a magical beast with seven eyes. When he escapes his magic cage, the fairy folk of Shimmerlee decide that someone needs to find him quickly. One young, pink-haired sprite, who is smaller than the rest, volunteers for this dangerous mission despite the doubts of the other fairy folk. With a little bit of magic and a lot of courage, she discovers that the MuriMuri is not so terrible after all. The fairy children in this village face the same issues that human children do. Through imaginative rhyming text, fairy and human children alike learn valuable lessons about life. This series of books aid in teaching acceptance of self and others who may be different than ourselves. The stories also address common childhood fears.
